I had to get use to a whole new layout this programme didn't have any layers to use, and most of the options that I found in photo shop were either not in this programme or in a different location, so it was hard to get use to it.But I began to get use to it, the main tool it was missing was the magic wand tool so i still needed to use photo shop,. Due to this I had to save it as a new format '.TIFF', this allowed my to insert a picture without a background. I have also started to write about the band members but as of today it is still a work in progress.

Matthew, I like the layout that you have choosen. The background for the top half of the magazine is appropriate for the genre of magazine. As it is a dark background it has also allowed the font to stand out.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures that you have chosen have been composed well. The way they have been placed on the page make them the first thing you look at, this is god and I think will intregue the audience.
The article itself has been set out nicely, however, in my opinion, I wouldn't have used the grey text box background. It doesnt tie in with the bright colours that have been used at the top of the page.
Over all, the general layout and features are really well done and have been presented nicely.
Well done :)
Loving that notebook effect again at the bottom half of the page, i like the top half of the page too as it has got the whole band posing for a photo and also i like the background also at the top half, the colours work well with one another on this page. Nice one mate
